The motto of ASTS is
Research, Exploration, Product Development, and Destination Promotion &
Nature Conservation.
Research– ASTS
feels that more Research needs to be done in the Himalayan Region so
that untapped resources can be developed and promotes. Research with
regard to environment, flora and fauna and eco system will also be
undertaken.
Exploration- ASTS feels lot of
destinations is yet to be explored and promoted for Destination for
Adventure Tourism. For Example: Himalaya's in Afghanistan, Myanmar etc.
Product Development– ASTS feels that
new exciting Adventure Sports tourism products can be developed thorough
out the Himalayan Region.
Destination Promotion- ASTS will not
only promote Nepal as a destination but will create a win-win situation
in the entire Himalayan Region for the promotion of Adventure Sports
Tourism, which will also bring benefit to our country as the
destination.
Nature Conservation– Every one is
aware of that the Himalayas is under big threat due to climate change
and global warming. The ASTS aims to promote nature conservation through
Adventure Sports Tourism for our future generation.
